Mass AG Files Brief In Texas Suit To Let Women Leave State For Abortion Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey joined other Democrat state attorneys generals to file an amicus brief in a class action lawsuit that seeks to nullify portions of Texas' new abortion law.  The law is considered one of the strictest in the nation. It blocks women from seeking to end a pregnancy six weeks after conception.  Women don't often know they are pregnant at that point. Massachusetts Protects Abortion Rights In Response To Roe V. Wade Ruling In response to the US Supreme Court overturning Roe V. Wade, Gov.
