A former student of Boston College High School said a 62-year-old Jesuit priest and former teacher at the Catholic preparatory school raped him for a year more than a decade ago, authorities said on Wednesday, June 5.
Kevin White, 62, of Weston, was arrested and charged with rape and abuse of a child, the Suffolk County District Attorney said.
The unnamed former student told investigators that White, who was a theology teacher at the high school, sexually abused him from 2008 through 2009, the prosecutor said.

A Suffolk County jury convicted a 39-year-old Everett man on Thursday, Jan. 18, in the vicious beating and stabbing death of a Boston man who was trying to protect his girlfriend, authorities said.
