The identify of the man who was killed in a fire along with a pet dog has been released, along with the cause of the fire, according to officials. Multiple 911 calls brought firefighters to a multi-family home on 9th Avenue around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday Jan. 28, according to the Haverhill Fire Department. An elderly woman with limited mobility was hospitalized after a cooking fire got out of control, officials say. Firefighters arrived at 73 Main Street around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3 after being alerted about a fire that trapped a person inside the building, according to the Kingston Police Department. Northern Mass Man Dies From 'Out Of Control' Shed Fire Sparked By Propane Torch
A Chelmsford man had died from his injuries sustained from an outdoor fire that grew out of control while he was using a propane torch, the Department of Fire Services said in a release.
