Students Dismissed Early After Threats Spark Lockdown At Medway High School
Students at Medway High School were dismissed early after the building was placed on lockdown because of a threats made against the school, according to officials. The lockdown was put in place after the school received two phone calls from an individual indicating threats to student safety just before 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26. : Lockdown Prompted After Gunfire Reported At Amesbury High School: Police
Police received a report of gunfire at Amesbury High School and locked the school down, officials say. Officers were dispatched to the high school on Highland Street to lock the school down around 11:45 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 13 after receiving a call in which a male voice said he had a firearm near the school, according to the Amesbury Police Department. Ex-Coworker ID'd As Man Found Dead Outside Resident's Mass Home: Police
Police have released more information related to a death investigation that started after a body was found outside a private home in Central Massachusetts last week. Boylston Police responded to a call from a resident who said that a man with a gun had knocked on his door around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, the department said on Facebook. The resident hid inside his home once he saw the weapon and proceeded to call 911. The man also identified the suspect as his former coworker, police said. Three students are expected to face charges for making a fake bomb threat and forcing two schools in central Massachusetts on lockdown, authorities said. A parent called police about someone wearing a mask who claimed to a have a bomb near Douglas Elementary School around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, Douglas Police said on Facebook. No Gun, No Arrest After Charlestown High School Placed On Lockdown: Report
After authorities initially thought that the presence of a gun prompted a lockdown at a Boston-area high school, that turned out to not be the case. Boston Police responded to a report of a person with a gun near a Charlestown High School around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, WCVB reports.
