Randolph Teacher Sent To Hospital After Drinking 'Unknown Substance' In Coffee
An investigation has been launched after an elementary school teacher was brought to the hospital after drinking an "unknown substance" in their coffee this week. The teacher at Donovan Elementary School in Randolph was taken to Milton Hospital around 12:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, according to a letter from Principal Beth Gannon. Gannon said the decision to transport the teacher was made "out of the abundance of caution" for their health after consulting with the school district. The teacher's condition was not known. An investigation is underway after a body was discovered on a beach in Salem Harbor this week, authorities said. Marblehead Police to a report of a body lying on the beach at the end of Edgemere Road in Marblehead around 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, the department said on Facebook. Former Rowley Police Officer Faces Rape Allegations
A former Rowley police officer is currently under investigation for an allegation of misconduct, the Essex County District Attorney's Office confirmed to Daily Voice. The officer retired in May, 2022 after three decades of policing, but was recently working as a special officer when allegations of rape were made against him, according to NBC10. The victim of a fatal stabbing inside a laundromat is being remembered as an "old soul" by friends who say the loss of their friend broke their heart. Missing Person Found Dead At Bare Cove Park In Hingham On Thanksgiving: Police
There was a large police presence at Bare Cove Park after police found the body of a missing person, authorities said. Hingham Police did not identify the person but said there is no sign of foul play and no danger to the public. Man Charged In Connection With Western Massachusetts Murder: DA
A man has been arrested in connection with a homicide in western Massachusetts, the Hampden County District Attorney's Office reports. Jose Hernandez, of West Springfield, was arrested and charged with murder on Friday, Oct. 21, the office reports. Authorities were aware of a possible homicide victim on Thursday, according to the office. Police later searched the victim's house and found them dead inside.
