Man Shot To Death In Boston Neighborhood; Police Investigating Boston police said a man was shot to death Thursday evening, Aug. 11, and investigators are asking for help to find the shooter. The man was shot just after 8:30 p.m. near 4 Oak Hill Avenue in Mattapan, Boston police said. When officers arrived, they found him bleeding but still alive. Responders rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors later pronounced him dead, police said.  Boston police are investigating the case and ask anyone with information to contact homicide detectives at (617) 343-4470.
