North Reading First Responders Help Deliver Baby In Bathroom
First responders in North Reading are being hailed as heroes after they helped deliver a baby girl in a family’s bathroom, authorities said. Neighbor Helps Resident Escape Weekend Fire At North Reading Home: Officials
One person is displaced after a multi-alarm fire broke out at their North Reading home this weekend, according to officials. Crews responded to the two-alarm fire at 14 Cold Spring Road just before noon on Sunday, April 23, North Reading Fire Chief Don Stats reports. Upon arrival, firefighters saw flames coming from the second floor of the home. While crews put out an initial fire, they soon discovered a hidden fire was spreading throughout the house's structure and roofing, Stats said. Wakefield Firefighter Hospitalized From Battling Afternoon 4-Alarm House Fire
One firefighter was hospitalized after firefighters from several departments joined forces to put out a four-alarm fire at a Wakefield home, authorities said. Wakefield fire was first to the fire that broke out at 26 Eastern Avenue around 11:35 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, the department said. Upon arrival, crews found flames shooting from a house.
