Roommate, Boyfriend Of Weymouth Woman Found Slain Charged With Financial Crimes: Police
The roommate of a woman found slain in Weymouth on Monday, April 1, and her boyfriend have been arrested on financial crimes police discovered while investigating the killing, authorities said.
Kelly Shaw, age 44, and her boyfriend John “Jack” Harper, 45, will be arraigned Thursday, April 4, on charges of theft valued over $1,200, uttering forged checks, and other offenses, authorities said.
They have not been charged with homicide, authorities reiterated.

Rakesh Kamal, 57, Teena Kamal, 54, and their daughter Arianna Kamal, 18, were found shot to death inside their 11-bedroom, $4 million home in Dover about 20 miles from Boston just before 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 28, the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office said. They had all been shot to death.

A 36-year-old Norfolk County woman was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 2, and charged with stealing $1.3 million from her former employer, authorities said.
Ashley Sumner, of Weymouth, is charged with larceny over $1,200, two counts of improper use of a credit card over $1,200, four counts of identity fraud, and one count of money laundering, Holbrook police said. She was being held on a $100,000 bond.

Authorities are investigating after two young men who shot and killed on the South Shore this weekend.
Jahzier Porter, age 16, and Jayden Santos-Andrade, age 19, died in the shooting that took place on Albert Road in Braintree on late Saturday night, June 24, the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office reports.
Porter was a student at Braintree High School while Santos-Andrade, of Dorchester, would have turned 20 next month, the office added.

A 56-year-old woman from Wellesley has been sentenced to six months in jail for hitting and killing two teenage girls from Needham with her car more than four years ago, authorities said.
