Two Men Charged With First-Degree Murder In Slaying Of 15-Year-Old Boston Boy: DA
Two men were charged on Wednesday, Nov. 30, with the killing of a 15-year-old middle school student at a Boston park over the summer.
Zontre Mack, 19, of Canton, and Dominick Gavin, 25, of Boston, were arraigned on first-degree murder in the killing of Curtis Ashford Jr. on Ellington Street on July 27, the Suffolk County District Attorney said. Mack, who is also charged with illegal weapon and communication possession, is being held without bail. The magistrate gave Gavin, who also faces an accessory after the fact of murder charge, a $75,000 bond, authorities said.

Man Wanted For Fatal Boston Shooting Nabbed In NYC After 7 Months: Police
A man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Massachusetts was arrested in New York seven months later, authorities said.
Timothy Timson, age 30, was arrested in connection with the murder of 51-year-old David Wood, of Boston, in New York City on Sunday, Nov. 27, Boston Police report.
Wood was shot in the area of Wabeno and Wyoming streets around 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, police said. He was pronounced dead on scene.
Timson will remain in the custody of NYPD until he is brought back to Boston, police said. Meanwhile, the investigation into the homicide is ongoing.

Lynn Man Gets Life In Prison For Fatally Shooting 25-Year-Old In 2018: DA
A Lynn man will spend the rest of his life in prison without the option of parole for a triple shooting that killed one man in 2018, authorities said.
Victor Figueroa-Flores, age 23, was sentenced after he was found guilty of the first-degree murder of Romel Danis, age 25, on Oct. 28, the Essex County District Attorney's Office reports.
Prosecutors said that Figueroa-Flores, along with Nathaniel Pagan, randomly targeted Danis and two other men and mistook them for Trinitario gang members, the office reports.
