A bus driver had to think fast after a car smashed into the bus filled with passengers and swerved into a fence to avoid another collision, officials say. The MBTA bus was traveling on Morton Street when a passenger vehicle abruptly turned into the bus's lane, causing the two vehicles to collide at around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, according to Richard Sullivan, the Superintendent of the Transit Police Department. : 91-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured After Hit At Boston Intersection
A 91-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car while crossing a crosswalk in Boston, authorities said. Police responded to the incident at the intersection of Morton Street and West Seldon Street in Dorchester around 9:39 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, Massachusetts State Police said. Initial investigation determined the man was hit by a 62-year-old Dorchester man who was crossing Morton Street, police said. Unmarked Mass State Police Cruiser Involved In Boston Crash That Injured 4
Four people are hospitalized after a vehicle rear-ended an unmarked Massachusetts State Police cruiser in Boston, authorities said. The vehicle was driving in the area of Morton and Canterbury streets in Dorchester when it struck the cruiser around 2:05 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, State Police said. A Trooper inside the cruiser and the three occupants of the other vehicle were all taken to area hospital with minor injuries, police said. The back end of the cruiser sustained heavy damage as well as the front end of the striking vehicle.
