Motorcyclist Killed In Head-On Groton Collision Remembered For His Compassion, Love Of Animals The family and friends of a 27-year-old man killed in a head-on collision earlier this month in Groton said he was a kind and loving young man with an accomplished past and bright future.  Cody Trudel, of Ayer, was killed just after 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, when a car drifted over the center line on Boston Road and collided with him, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said.  An email to the prosecutor's office on Wednesday, July 17, for updates on the investigation or any potential charges for that driver was not immediately returned.  Memorials have flooded social media sinc…

Fundraiser For Mom, Daughter, 11, Gunned Down In Central Mass Surpasses $50K More than 650 people have donated to a fundraiser that will go to the family of a mom and 11-year-old daughter who were gunned down in their car last week in Worcester.  Chasity Nuñez and her daughter Zella were shot and killed inside their car in the area of Lisbon Street at Englewood Avenue around 3 p.m. on March 5. Two men have since been arrested in the slayings.  The GoFundMe hopes to raise $100,000, some of which will cover the burial costs for Chasity Nuñez and 11-year-old Zella Nuñez. Family Loses 2 Teen Sons In Randolph Wreck After Oldest Dies In Hospital: DA A Brockton family suffered a grievous loss this week after two of their sons were killed in a wreck in Norfolk County. The community has created a GoFundMe to help them as they deal with their unimaginable loss.  Terry Boston, 15, died when the Nissan Altima his brother, Makhi Boston, was driving crashed into a tree in Randolph around 10:30 p.m. on 701 N. Main Street (Route 28) on Tuesday, July 18, the Norfolk District Attorney's Office said.   Paramedics airlifted Makhi Boston, 18, to Boston Medical Center, where he died of his injuries Wednesday.
