: Police Refute Claims Of Drugs, Concerning Objects, At South Boston Home
Police have offered a correction for the often-reported idea that a South Boston apartment from which four children were removed was strewn with "concerning objects,", according to officials. First responders were called to 381 Old Colony Road in South Boston for a report of an unconscious person on Saturday, June 17, which led to the removal of four children from the premises, according to a Boston Police Department and the Department of Children and Families. The unconscious person was described by police as a Black, male-to-female transgender person who is "known to the commonwealth." …

Norwood School Employee On Leave After Allegedly Assaulting Student: Police
An employee at a pre-K school in Norwood is on leave after they allegedly assaulted a student last week, authorities said. The employee of George F. Willett Early Childhood Center allegedly hit the child after taking them into a hallway at the school around 11 a.m. on Sept. 28, the Norwood School District said in a letter to parents. The school nurse examined the student before their parents came and picked them up, the letter from Superintendent David Thomson said. DCF Under Investigation After 12-Year-Old Girl Dies At Central Mass Home
The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) is under investigation after a 12-year-old girl died under their care, Boston25 reports. The girl was found unresponsive at the Bridge Home in Fitchburg on Saturday, Sept. 3, the outlet reports. The home is one of several community placements for children under the age of 12 who are taken into the DCF's custody, Sentinel and Enterprise said in an article.
