Two Natick churches said they had flags showing support of the LGBTQ community torn down and replaced with banners proclaiming "Jesus Is King" over the weekend. Anti-gay letters were also left behind at the houses of worship. Christ Lutheran Church and First Congregational Church of Natick posted on Facebook about the incidents that happened late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, July 27-28. Man Accused Of Defacing Salem Church, Park With Anti

A 25-year-old Beverly man was arrested and charged with vandalizing multiple buildings and flags with anti-LGBT graffiti in Salem, authorities announced Wednesday, Sept. 20. Mohammed Saeed Rajab pleaded not guilty to the charges in a Salem court and was ordered held on a $2,500 bond, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said.
