Hudson Valley resident Pamela Nugent, age 35, was swept away after water surrounded her Orange County home in the hamlet of Fort Montgomery during the severe storms on Sunday, July 9, according to a GoFundMe. Some Areas Could See Up To 18 Inches Of Snowfall From Potent Nor'easter Taking Aim On Region A storm system that will sweep through the Northeast could bring up to 18 inches of snowfall to some interior areas in the region, according to brand-new predictions. The system is on track for Thursday, Dec. 15 into Friday, Dec. 16.  In coastal areas along the I-95 corridor, mainly rain and possible sleet are expected from the system, according to the National Weather Service. But farther inland, parts of northern New York, New England, and Pennsylvania could see at least a foot of accumulation from the Nor'easter. Wanted Out-Of-State Man Apprehended In Hudson Valley An out-of-state man wanted for assaulting a woman was nabbed by police in the Hudson Valley. The man was apprehended in Ulster County while officers were conducting a warrant investigation on Tuesday, Aug. 23. While conducting the investigation, officers located AJ Brown, age unknown, of Gloucester, Massachusetts, living in the hamlet of Glasco, in the town of Saugerties, Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra said. Brown was wanted out of Maryland on a warrant from Baltimore County for felony assault of a woman on I-95 in December 2021, Sinagra said. He was taken into custody by officers…
