Authorities in Brookline are trying to figure out how two flags representing social movements were defaced with stickers from a tabletop war game whose imagery is often found in hate speech. Federal agents arrested a 38-year-old Texas man for allegedly leaving threatening voicemails for a doctor who works at the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center in Boston earlier this year, authorities said.
