: Lockdown Prompted After Gunfire Reported At Amesbury High School: Police
Police received a report of gunfire at Amesbury High School and locked the school down, officials say. Officers were dispatched to the high school on Highland Street to lock the school down around 11:45 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 13 after receiving a call in which a male voice said he had a firearm near the school, according to the Amesbury Police Department. The sound of gunshots could be heard in the background of the call. Former Northeastern Employee Charged With Fabricating Explosive Package Incident
A former employee has been arrested and charged in connection with fabricating an explosion package incident at Northeastern University last month, authorities said. Jason Duhaime was arrested at his home in San Antonio, TX for lying to prosecutors in connection with the incident that happened on Tuesday, Sept. 13, FBI Boston and US Attorney Rachael Rollins report. Duhaime was recently hired to work at the university as a new technology manager of the Immersive Media Lab, according to his Northeastern biography. Fake Gun Report Prompts Lockdown At Acton-Boxborough Regional High School (

Students at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School in Acton were ordered to shelter in place for two hours following a false report of a gun being brought to school, officials said. Acton Police responded to the school at 36 Charter Road in Acton for a "potentially concerning situation" on the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 14, Boston25 reports citing school officials.
