Alyssa Fluet, age 21, of Methuen, died on Monday, Aug. 14 in Long Island, Maine, while trying to stop a 1998 Ford Ranger that was rolling from a parked position, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office. The Ford Ranger rolled into a 2004 Ford Ranger, pinning Fluet between the trucks and killing her.  Fluet was born in Lawrence and grew up in Methuen, where she attended Methuen High School, according to her obituary.
