A group of elderly Christmas carolers singing to support a friend in Boston were punched multiple times by a group of teens in an unprovoked attack, authorities said. A 15-year-old and 16-year-old are being charged with assault and battery on a person 60 and over after throwing punches at a group of elderly Christmas carolers on Johnston Street in Dorchester shortly after 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15. Jewel Thieves Target Elderly In Merrimack Valley: Police
Police are warning six communities in the Merrimack Valley to keep an eye out for a man and woman who they say are targeting the elderly of their jewelry. Officials warned residents in Lowell, Tyngsborough, Chelmsford, Dracut, Billerica, and Tewksbury that the couple travel together and call people over to their car “to speak to them in a friendly and engaging manner,” a post issued by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office said. Boston Police Seeking Scammer Who Stole Over $13,000 From 79-Year-Old Man
Boston Police are seeking the public's help in locating a suspect's car who apparently scammed a 79-year-old man out of $13,500 dollars. The man told police that someone called him saying his needed to be bailed out of jail grandson following an incident with a woman who was seriously injured, police said. A second person, claiming to be a public defender, reiterated the situation and said bail bondsman could meet the and pick up the money.
