: Police Refute Claims Of Drugs, Concerning Objects, At South Boston Home
Police have offered a correction for the often-reported idea that a South Boston apartment from which four children were removed was strewn with "concerning objects,", according to officials. First responders were called to 381 Old Colony Road in South Boston for a report of an unconscious person on Saturday, June 17, which led to the removal of four children from the premises, according to a Boston Police Department and the Department of Children and Families. The unconscious person was described by police as a Black, male-to-female transgender person who is "known to the commonwealth." …

'Prolific Pill Pusher': Gang Member Who Tricked People Into Buying Fentanyl, Meth Gets 10 Years
A Middlesex County member of a violent street gang that police say is responsible for several drug overdoses was sentenced to 10 years behind bars, authorities said. Vando Gvozdarevic, 30, of Chelmsford, pleaded guilty last year to possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine and 40 grams or more of fentanyl and was sentenced on Wednesday, March 15, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. Worcester Man Charged In Connection With Fatal Overdose Of 36-Year-Old Woman
A Worcester man is facing manslaughter charges in connection with the fatal overdose of a 36-year-old woman earlier this year, the Worcester County District Attorney's office reports. Jonathan Delacruz is accused of selling drugs to the woman that caused her to fatally overdose on March 18, the office reports. Investigators learned the woman ingested what she believed to be cocaine shortly before she became unresponsive.
