Philip Chism, 25, of Danvers, admitted on Friday, April 26, to attempted murder, assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon (cinder block), and kidnapping, the Suffolk County District Attorney announced.

Boston Man, 28, Charged With Teen's Killing Near Playground 6 Months Later
Authorities in Boston say they have put handcuffs on the man responsible for a fatal shooting of a teen at a Roxbury playground over the summer.
Anthony Ramos, 28, of Dorchester, was arrested and charged this week with the killing of 19-year-old Tywon Meeks on July 6 at 5 Leyland Street, the Suffolk County District Attorney. He is charged with first-degree murder, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, and carrying a loaded firearm.
Ramos was already in custody after police busted him last week on a firearms charge, the prosecutor added.

A video showing a short police chase and arrest in South Boston has gone viral after commenters were astonished by the number of patrol cars involved in the pursuit.
Kailyn Almeida, 23, of Bridgewater, and Christopher A. Meade, 30, of Malden, were arrested following the chase on Monday, Dec. 11, State Police said.
The chase began just after 10 p.m. when a trooper tried to pull over a white Acadia in Dorchester near the Neponset Avenue bridge.
