Chelsea 5-Alarm Fire Hospitalizes 2 Firefighters, Displaces 30 At least six people, including two firefighters, are hospitalized and more than 30 people are without a home after five-alarm fire ripped though a home in Chelsea.  Firefighters responded to the fire at a triple-decker home on 32-34 Cottage Street just after midnight on Thursday, Aug. 16, the Department of Fire Services said. The fire started on one of the house's back porches, Chelsea Fire Chief Leonard Albanese said.  “Porch fires are especially dangerous because they can grow and spread to the rest of the building before anyone inside is aware of the danger," Chief Albanese said.
