CNN Anchor From New England Announces Husband's Death In Heartbreaking Post
Alisyn Camerota, A CNN anchor from Fairfield County, CT and with New Jersey roots is mourning the loss of her husband, she announced in a heartbreaking post on social media. Camerota, who was born in Shrewsbury, NJ said on Friday, Sept. 20 on Instagram that her husband, Tim Lewis, died on July 27, 2024 — two years after being diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Lewis' obituary on the Harding Funeral Home website says that he and Camerota live in Westport, CT. Justin Timberlake Admits Driving While Impaired In NY
Justin Timberlake formally accepted a plea deal in his alleged drunk driving case in New York. The former NSYNC frontman, age 43, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of driving while ability impaired in Sag Harbor Village court on Friday, Sept. 13. He was ordered to pay a $500 fine and complete 25 hours of community service within a year. He also agreed to make a public safety announcement about the dangers of drinking and driving. A former Weymouth police officer who was caught on video camera beating a handcuffed suspect will not serve any jail time, federal authorities said. Justin Chappell, 43, was sentenced to two years of supervised release, with the first six months to be spent under house arrest, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said on Tuesday, July 16. Family Killed In Western Mass Murder-Suicide ID'd
Police have identified the three people found shot to death inside a Western Massachusetts home as a mother, her son, and her domestic partner. Sima Pariseau, age 56, Dylan Pariseau, age 27, and Peter Donaldson, age 56, were found dead Tuesday morning, June 18, after police were called to perform a welfare check, the Hampden District Attorney's Office said. Police saw Donaldson's body through a window and forced their way inside. They found Sima and her son in the basement. Both had been shot multiple times. A former FedEx driver who sold guns he stole from his truck will not return to prison despite his guilty plea, authorities announced. Frank P. O’Toole, 40, of Middleborough, was sentenced to time served on Friday, Feb. 2, after he admitted to two counts of possession or sale of a stolen firearm, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. The former leader of a Boston school who admitted to using nearly $40,000 set aside for the children's education on personal expenses and tropical vacations will not go to prison, but she must repay the money, authorities said. Naia Wilson, 60, of Mattapan, was sentenced on Tuesday, Jan. 9, to 90 days of home confinement, two years of probation, 160 hours of community service, and a $25,000 fine, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. A man who served his community for 37 years died after a long battle with cancer. Matthew King, who served as police chief in Littleton from 2014 to 2018, died on Monday, July 3 after a "courageous" battle with cancer at age 63, according to his obituary and the Littleton Police Department. The former head of a Boston nonprofit homeless shelter pleaded guilty this week to stealing $1.5 million in funds and will spend a year behind bars, authorities said.
