No Gun, No Arrest After Charlestown High School Placed On Lockdown: Report After authorities initially thought that the presence of a gun prompted a lockdown at a Boston-area high school, that turned out to not be the case. Boston Police responded to a report of a person with a gun near a Charlestown High School around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, WCVB reports. However, responding officers found no gun and no suspect, the outlet continued.  The school was placed on lockdown as a result.
