Carlos Portillo, of Revere, was arrested on Wednesday, April 26 after assaulting two workers at a restaurant in Central Square in Cambridge with a pocket knife and hammer, according to the Cambridge Police Department. Police received reports of gun shots near Central Square around 1:31 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 3, Cambridge Police said.  Responding officers found the man suffering from gunshot wounds on School Street.
