You don't need to worry about porch pirates stealing your package if the delivery driver crashes through your porch. An Amazon delivery van smashed through the front wall of a leasing office at an apartment building in Georgetown on Monday afternoon, Feb. 5, authorities said. Authorities have identified the 39-year-old Weymouth man who was killed last week after being ejected from his car during a rollover wreck in Franklin. Anthony Espino was driving north on I-495 near exit 41 on Friday, Jan. 5, when he lost control of his car, the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office said. A DoorDash driver on a Dunkin Donuts run in Essex County crashed into a body of water because their GPS gave them bad directions, they told police. The unnamed driver called authorities just after 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, after they splashed down in a large pool of water in Middleton, Middleton police said. 93-Year-Old Killed Riding Tricycle In Crash Near Merrimac Home
Authorities have identified a 93-year-old Massachusetts man killed in a fatal crash late Saturday afternoon, July 1. Robert Whitcomb of Merrimac was struck by a car while riding a tricycle near his home on Bartlett Street just after 5 p.m., Merrimac Police said. An aspiring NFL player who once played for a Division I college in Eastern Massachusetts has died following a car crash in Maryland, according to his family. Daniel Elisha Worthy, a former defensive lineman for the Merrimack College Warriors, was killed in the crash that happened in Hagerstown, MD on Wednesday, June 21. Worthy, who studied Criminology at Merrimack in North Andover, was among two 22-year-olds in a 2007 BMW sedan that had left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a tree. A 911 call reporting that a pedestrian had been run over by a can sent firefighters rushing to a corner store where they found a woman who had injured herself with her own car, officials say. Firefighters were dispatched to 59 North Franklin Street near Richdale Convenience Store at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, the Lynn Fire Department confirmed to Daily Voice.
