A 35-year-old former police officer was indicted on charges that he raped a 15-year-old girl that was known to him, authorities said. Alexander Allen, 35, a former Billerica police officer, was charged with aggravated rape of a child with a 10-year age difference and possession of child pornography, the Middlesex District Attorney said on Wednesday, Oct. 9. A 34-year-old Billerica man is believed to have been on his phone when he crashed into a 53-year-old woman, killing her, authorities said. The man, whose name was not released, hit the woman on Saturday, July 20, just after 3:30 p.m. as she walked her bicycle across Concord Street, the Middlesex District Attorney said. Eric Robert Johnson Facing At Least 10 Year For Child Porn
A Billerica registered sex offender has pleaded guilty to possessing more than 5,000 of child sexual abuse material that featured children as young as infants being abused, federal authorities said. Eric Robert Johnson, 50, a lifetime Level 2 sex offender, admitted to one count of child porn possession Monday, Jan. 29, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. A man was killed in a two-car crash in Billerica on Friday, Jan. 12, that sent another person to the hospital, authorities said. The crash happened at the intersection of Salem Road (Route 129) and Gray Street just after noon, Billerica police said. Police did not release the man's name.
