The puppy was left attended in the locked car around 12:30 p.m. at the Quincy Adams station, according to transit police. The Quincy Fire Department arrived to help open the car door. It is unclear how long the puppy was trapped in the car. The temperature plummeted to around 27 degrees at the time the animal was found, according to Weather Underground. Lynn Police Investigating Children For Burning Dog To Death: Report Young children may have been behind the death of a dog found burned on the side of the road in Lynn over the weekend, news reports said.  Authorities called Lynnfield Animal Control after a dog was reportedly set on fire on Curwin Circle on Saturday, Sept. 4, CBS Boston reported. Abandoned Pit Bull Puppy Found Stranded Near Boston Cemetery The MSPCA-Angell in Boston is asking the public to help them identify the owner of a five-month old Pit Bull puppy who was found stranded and emaciated last week.  PJ was found inside a crate in the area near Mount Hope Cemetery and brought into the MSPCA's medical center around 5:20 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, Rob Halpin with the organization said.  The puppy was found wearing a blue, gray and yellow collar made by FuzzYard, but did not have any identification tags.
