An 85-year-old woman from Maynard is expected to face charges in connection with a hit-and-run that seriously injured a 13-year-old boy last month in Acton, authorities said. Acton Police have filed for a criminal complaint charging the woman with leaving the scene of a crash causing personal injury, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and a crosswalk violation, Chief Richard Burrows reports. Three Framingham teens are accused of running from Acton police in a stolen dump truck earlier this week. Christopher De Brito, 18, faces charges of resisting arrest and theft of a motor vehicle, and two 17-year-olds are charged with theft of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, negligent operation of a vehicle, and unlicensed driving, Acton police said. Police have identified a suspect and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that seriously injured a 13-year-old boy in Action earlier this month, authorities said. Acton Police and Fire responded to the crash at Great Road near Harris Street around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, authorities said. 64-Year-Old Man Airlifted To Hospital After Serious Motorcycle Crash In Acton
One person is in the hospital following a serious motorcycle crash in Acton, authorities said. Police responded to multiple reports about a motorcycle and motor vehicle that collided in the area of 130 Great Road and Routes 2A and 119 just after noon on Monday, Oct. 31, Acton Police and Fire report. Students at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School in Acton were ordered to shelter in place for two hours following a false report of a gun being brought to school, officials said. Acton Police responded to the school at 36 Charter Road in Acton for a "potentially concerning situation" on the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 14, Boston25 reports citing school officials.
