Marcus Pixley, 62, of Boston, was arrested on Sunday, Dec. 11, after the woman identified him as the man who threatened her with the weapon, Cambridge police said.
The woman told officers she was leaving her apartment just before noon with her child when she was confronted with Pixley's penis as he was urinating in public. She tried to prevent the kid from seeing what was happening and asked him to put it away. That's when she said he pulled a knife and pointed it at her and her child.
Pixley called her a "snitch" when she threatened to call the police, a report said. Officers found him nearby, and the woman identified him as the suspect.
Authorities charged Pixley with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, intimidation of a witness, and open and gross lewdness, Cambridge police. Officers said he had outstanding warrants as well.
