Four Men Arrested In Cambridge Stabbings That Sent 2 To Hospital: Police

Police in Cambridge arrested four men this week who they say took part in stabbings that left two people seriously injured earlier this month.

Officers found evidence of the first attack around 4 a.m. on July 10, in Central Square near the intersection of Mass Avenue and Pleasant Street following a fight, Cambridge Police said. The victim in that attack walked into a nearby hospital with stab wounds. Doctors treated him and he was released later that day. 

Later that day, that same man was attacked and stabbed again around 8 p.m. near 5 Western Ave., police said. Another man was also stabbed around the same time in the area of 750 Massachusetts Ave. Both were seriously injured, but doctors expect them to recover, Cambridge police said. 

Cambridge police arrested four men on Monday, July 18, in Central Square and charged them with the attacks. Those arrests include: 

  • Jahhiaha Carr is charged with assault with intent to murder, armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery to collect a loan.
  • Talia Jackson of Chelsea is charged with armed robbery, intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery to collect a loan, and carrying a dangerous weapon.
  • Hulbert Desanges of Boston is charged with two counts of armed assault with intent to murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
  • Dakari Henderson of Boston is charged with armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
