Cecile Caruso Wins $1M In Mass State Lottery

An Everett woman has won the fourth and final $1 million prize for the Massachusetts State Lottery's "Hit $500" game.

Cecile Caruso hoped she would win the $500 option, but it was a golden ticket worth $1 million.

Caruso chose to take the lump-sum payment of $650,000 rather than the annuity.

She bought the winning ticket at Kipo’s Market & Deli at 42 Bradford St. in Everett. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
