Fast-Moving New Storm With Downpours, 60 MPH Winds Approaching Northeast: Timing
A stormy end will wrap up an otherwise pleasant weekend.
Sunday, June 14, should start mainly sunny across much of NY, NJ, CT, MA, PA, MD, and VA, before the next round of showers and thunderstorms arrives later in the day and into the night.
The storms will be triggered by a strong cold front, the National Weather Service said.
The system is expected to move quickly. Gradual clearing is expected overnight, setting up a mainly sunny and more comfortable day on Monday, June 15.
