Firefighters Battle Train Fire In Western Mass Overnight Firefighters in Palmer were called to a train engine fire earlier Sunday morning, May 19, which posed a unique problem.  Crews rushed to the scene just before 4 a.m. to a train stopped by Park Street that had caught fire.
