Man Hit, Killed While Crossing Street In Western Mass A 72-year-old Western Massachusetts man was killed Tuesday evening after being hit by a car in Western Massachusetts, authorities said. The man was crossing Route 10 near 412 Main Street in Easthampton when he was struck around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, according to the Northwestern District Attorney's Office. Body Of Missing Western Mass Man Found In Wooded Area The body of a missing Western Massachusetts man was found Thursday morning, Dec. 19, in a wooded area, authorities said.  Robert Williams, 27, had been reported missing by his family two days before finding his body, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.  Authorities do not suspect foul play, but they did not disclose how he died. The Office of Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.  Several local and state authorities, along with pilots from the Connecticut State Air Wing, helped in the search to find him.

Western Mass. Man ID'd As Victim In Motorcycle Crash A 70-year-old man was killed over the weekend after crashing with a truck in Hampshire County, authorities said. James Lis, of Three Rivers, died on Saturday, Aug. 24, in a crash in Hadley, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said on Monday.  Lis was driving his motorcycle north on East Street when he crashed with a truck driving south that was turning into a driveway around noon.  Paramedics took him to Baystate Medical Center, where he later died.  Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
