Authorities in Belize have determined the cause of death for three Massachusetts women who were found dead inside a luxury hotel earlier this month. An autopsy revealed blood in the women's lungs, CBS Boston reported. Police are still investigating what led up to their deaths. 1 Dead, Another Hospitalized Following Late-Night Western Mass. Fire
Firefighters were called to a house fire around 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 52 Silver St. in Greenfield with reports of multiple people trapped inside, the Massachusetts Fire Marshal said. Greenfield firefighters beat back flames before they could make it inside. Once they did they found one person dead and two others suffering injuries. Authorities did not release the victim's name. Update: Authorities have identified the woman killed as Jennifer Jarvis. Click here for more information on the victim. Original: A woman was struck and killed by a train in Franklin County on Monday, June 10. The crash happened about half a mile from the Bardwell's Ferry bridge in Shelburne Falls when a Berkshire & Eastern Railroad freight train slammed into the woman walking on or near the tracks around 5 a.m., the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said. Man's Body Found In Mass Wastewater Treatment Plant
Workers at a Brockton wastewater treatment facility found the body of a man floating in the water Friday morning, May 24, authorities said. The workers called 911 around 8:15 a.m. when they found the man at the 303 Oak Hill Way plant, the Plymouth District Attorney's Office said. The man's name was not released.
