Duo Charged With Murdering Mom, Daughter In Worcester Shooting
Authorities in Worcester have indicted two men in connection with the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old mother and her 11-year-old daughter. Dejan Belnavis, 27, and Karel Mangual, 28, both of Worcester, were indicted last week on two counts of murder each, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said. A 24-year-old has been accused of displaying a firearm and pointing it at fellow motorists in Connecticut.The incident happened Friday night, Aug. 23, in Windham County. Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Child In Berkshire County Busted In Florida: DA
A 43-year-old man was arrested in Florida and returned to Berkshire County to face charges that he molested a child, authorities said. Omar Soto-Rincon was arraigned in Pittsfield earlier this week on the charge of indecent assault and battery on a person under 14, the Berkshire County District Attorney's Office said. Prosecutors could not release any information about the alleged assault to protect the victim's identity. Soto-Rincon was being held on a $5,000 bond, officials said.
