Body Of Woman Found After Fire Rips Through Wooded Area In Somerville Authorities have opened an investigation after a woman's body was found among the remains of a fire in a wooded area in Somerville, officials said. The fire was reported just after 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, and quickly consumed a small encampment off Alewife Brook Parkway and Broadway, the State Fire Marshal's Office said. Firefighters arrived to find intense flames fueled by piled wood and debris. Crews quickly extinguished the fire but remained on the scene for hours to address hot spots and smoldering piles. Rocco's Doughnut Company Closes Burlington Store On Pastry Holiday The Burlington branch of Rocco's Doughnut Company will say goodbye to the community on Friday, June 7, which happens to be National Doughnut Day.  The store at 19 3rd Ave. announced the closure in a Facebook post.  Our time here at 19 3rd ave will soon be coming to an end 🥺We came here one year ago (this June) as a pop-up and as our lease comes to a close we would love to thank you for the support you’ve all shown us.
