Man, 80, Killed In Early Morning Revere Fire
An 80-year-old was killed early Monday morning, July 15, after a fire tore through his Revere home. Firefighters were called to the 104 Patriot Parkway home at about 5:45 a.m. to find heavy smoke pouring out of the house. Crews were told the elderly man had limited mobility and was trapped inside, the state Fire Marshal's Office said. Firefighters forced their way inside, pulled the man to safety, and began life-saving measures. Paramedics rushed him to an area hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. Autistic 4-Year-Old Central Mass Girl Drowns In Neighbor's Pool
A 4-year-old autistic girl named Eva was found unresponsive in her neighbor's pool in Worcester County on Thursday, July 11, after she went missing from her home. She was pronounced dead at an area hospital a short time later. Police in Sutton received a 911 call around 3:50 p.m. that the girl had gone missing in the Peachtree Drive area, the Worcester County District Attorney said. 15-Year-Old Shot To Death In Lowell Found By Family Member
A 15-year-old girl was repeatedly fatally shot in Lowell on Friday evening, June 14, authorities announced. Lowell police received a 911 call just after 6 p.m. after a family member found the girl inside a Lawrence Street apartment with multiple traumatic injuries to her body, the Middlesex District Attorney said. Investigators found multiple shell casings near her body. Officers were searching the apartment Friday night and into Saturday morning. The investigation is ongoing.

Woburn Fire That Sent 2 Kids To Hospital, Displaced 3 Families Likely Started With Cigarette
A Woburn three-alarm fire over the weekend that left multiple families without a home and sent two children to the hospital likely began after someone failed to put out a cigarette on their porch, authorities said. Firefighters were called to the 1 Richmond Park apartments around 3:45 a.m. on Sunday, May 26. One child had climbed to safety from a window and fire crews rescued another from the roof.
