Dangerous Downshifts, Wheel Lockups Force Ford Pickup Probe To Expand Federal safety officials have escalated their investigation into more than 1.2 million Ford pickups after complaints about sudden transmission downshifts more than doubled, officials said. The probe into about 1,270,970 Ford F-150 trucks expanded on Friday, Jan. 30, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Police ID 42-Year-Old Andover Driver In Fatal CT Crash Authorities have identified the man who was killed the day after Thanksgiving after crashing into a utility pole in Bristol.  James Amayi-Kelley, 42, of Andover, Massachusetts, crashed at the Battle Street at James P. Casey Road intersection on Friday, Nov. 28, soon after 11:30 p.m., Bristol police said. The impact ejected him from the vehicle.  Police performed life-saving efforts at the scene, and paramedics rushed him to Bristol Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.  Police have notified his family.  This was the second fatal crash into a …
