Near Drowning Leaves Victim Critical: Lacey Twp PD A person is in critical condition after nearly drowning in Lacey on Tuesday, June 30, authorities said. At 8:28 a.m., officers responded to Bayfront Park and with the assistance of a passing boater, were able to reach and lift the victim from the water, Lacey Township police said. Officers immediately began CPR and took the subject to a nearby beach where lifesaving efforts were continued, police said. The victim was transported to Community Medical Center, where they remain in critical condition, police said.
