Police ID Worker Killed When Home Under Construction Collapses In Weymouth; 4 Others Injured A 29-year-old construction worker died Thursday, Jan. 28, after a house under construction collapsed in Weymouth, officials said. Mario Diaz Obando was critically injured when the structure on Vine Street came down around noon, according to Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey. He was rushed to South Shore Hospital, where he later died. He was one of five workers injured when the house collapsed. 71-Year-Old West Wareham Man Killed In Four-Car Middleborough Crash On I-495 A 71-year-old man was killed on Friday, Aug. 2, in a four-vehicle wreck that began when a tractor-trailer crashed into traffic as it slowed down, authorities said.  Police were called to the crash around 11:30 a.m. on I-495 near Exit 12. Mansfield Man Killed In Wrentham Crash A 50-year-old Mansfield man was killed on Friday, Aug. 2, in a two-car crash in Wrentham.  Troopers were called to the wreck on Route 1 when a 2014 Mercedes CLA sedan traveling north on Route 1 attempted to make an abrupt U-turn from the center lane, State police said. Man's Body Found In Mass Wastewater Treatment Plant Workers at a Brockton wastewater treatment facility found the body of a man floating in the water Friday morning, May 24, authorities said.  The workers called 911 around 8:15 a.m. when they found the man at the 303 Oak Hill Way plant, the Plymouth District Attorney's Office said.
