Newly Minted Millionaire: Central Mass Woman Lands Major Lottery Payday It was a very lucky week for one Worcester County woman after she won a $1 million cash prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery.  Anna Ceppetelli, of Dudley, won the seven-figure prize playing the "$15,000,000 Money Maker,” a $30 scratch-off game. Ceppetelli chose to take the lump-sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.  She bought the ticket at Xtra Mart, 465 East Main St. in Southbridge. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

Gennesse Alicea, of Southbridge, Massachusetts, was riding in a Hyundai Elantra that collided with a UPS tractor-trailer near Exit 71 in Willington at about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, according to Connecticut State Police.
