Charges Upgraded For Man Accused Of Baseball Bat Slaying In Worcester County: DA A grand jury has charged a 32-year-old man with murder following the discovery of a body in Worcester County, authorities said. Ryan Wilcox, of Thompson, Connecticut, and Worcester, is now charged with murder, armed assault with intent to kill, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, and assault with a dangerous weapon, according to the Worcester County District Attorney's Office. Man Found Dead In Central Mass; Police Reach Out For Clues A man's body was discovered in Worcester County Saturday morning, Jan. 4.  Investigators said he was discovered off of Brigham Street in Hubbardston, the Worcester County District Attorney said. Authorities did not provide any information on his identity or cause of death.  Investigators ask anyone with information on the man or his death to contact Massachusetts State Police at 508-829-8326.
