Victim Of Fatal Somerville Shooting ID'd A 49-year-old man who was found shot on Monday night, July 22, in Somerville, has died, authorities said.  Paul Nolan, of Somerville, was shot just before 10:30 p.m., the Middlesex District Attorney said.  Police were called to Dartmouth Street to reports of a shooting. They found Noal suffering from gunshot wounds, and paramedics rushed him to Massachusetts General Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.  Somerville police ask anyone with information to contact investigators at 617-625-1600 ext. 7250.

24-Year-Old Woman On Bike Killed In Cambridge Crash With Box Truck Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Friday morning, June 21, between a woman on a bicycle and a box truck, authorities said.  The 24-year-old woman was hit around 8:20 a.m. at the intersection of Hampshire Street and Portland Street, the Middlesex District Attorney said.  The woman's name was not released as police notified her next of kin.  An initial investigation revealed that the bike and truck were traveling in the same direction on Hampshire Street and crashed when the truck turned right onto Portland Street.  Paramedics rushed the woman to Massa…

Mass General Medical Assistant Groped Patient During Unnecessary Physical Exam: DA A 29-year-old medical assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital is accused of groping a patient during an exam that her doctor had not requested or approved, authorities said.  Leonardo Hernandez, of Jamaica Plain, is charged with indecent assault and battery on a person over 14, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said. A judge ordered him to stay away from the hospital and the alleged victim as part of his release on personal recognizance.  The patient called Boston police on April 12 to report the alleged incident that she said happened several weeks earlier.  …

Irish Firefighter Indicted In Rape Of 28-Year-Old At Boston Hotel: DA A 37-year-old firefighter from Dublin accused of raping a woman during a Saint Patrick's Day event was arrested attempting to flee the country, authorities said.  Terence Crosbie was charged last week with rape, the Suffolk County District Attorney said.  A 28-year-old woman told police at Massachusetts General Hospital that she had been sexually assaulted at the Omni Parker House early on March 15, the prosecutor said.
