Shrewsbury Woman Killed In Head-On Crash With Box Truck A Massachusetts woman was killed when she collided head-on with a box truck on a Hudson Valley road, police said.  The crash occurred on Monday, Dec. 2 at around 8:30 a.m., on John Simpson Road in the Putnam County town of Southeast, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. According to authorities, a southbound Honda CRV crossed over the double yellow line and struck a northbound Isuzu box truck head-on. Fatal Crash: 21-Year-Old Woman ID'd As Victim On I-91 In Region A 21-year-old Connecticut woman was killed in a crash on a stretch of I-91. It happened around 5:10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 in Windsor. A 2007 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling on the southbound Exit 35A off-ramp when it veered into the left shoulder and hit a metal guardrail, according to Connecticut State Police.  Both the operator, a 33-year-old Manchester man, and the passenger, identified as Valerie Ann Eaton of Hartford, were ejected from the motorcycle. Griswold Crash Leaves Massachusetts Trucker Dead A 42-year-old Middlesex County, Massachusetts, man died after crashing his truck down an embankment along I-395 in Connecticut. Tim Murray, of Ashby, crashed his Freightliner truck in Griswold, New London County between Exit 24 and 28 around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 Construction had closed the southbound right-hand lane of the highway. As Murray merged into the left lane, his 2019 Freightliner hit a guardrail. Murray corrected the truck but not before striking another section of the guardrail.  The truck tumbled down an embankment.
