Man, 25, Woman, 58, ID'd As 2 Killed In Central Mass Crash Police have identified the two people killed in a motorcycle versus car crash in Worcester County on Thursday morning, Sept. 7, that closed a road for several hours.  The crash happened on Route 20 (Southbridge Street) in Charlton around 11 a.m. when a 2008 motorcycle hit a 2015 Subaru Legacy as it turned onto the road, the Worcester District Attorney's Office said.  Joseph Tomlin Jr., 25, of Sturbridge, was identified as the man driving the motorcycle.  Diane Dwyer, 58, of Webster, was a passenger in the Subaru Legacy, officials said.  Sturbridge Road was closed for n…

Shrewsbury Man ID'd As Skier Who Died In Wachusett Mountain Accident: DA Authorities in Worcester County have identified the 67-year-old man who died in a skiing accident Monday, March 20, at Wachusett Mountain in Central Massachusetts.   John Lapato, of Shrewsbury, was found unresponsive just before 9:30 a.m. after he crashed into a tree at the Princeton resort while traversing an advanced trail, the Worcester District Attorney's Office said. (Updated) 'They Will Be Missed': Police ID Two 23-Year-Olds Killed In Central Mass Crash Police in Worcester County identified two 23-year-olds as the victims killed in a head-on collision over the weekend, officials said.   Jasmine Colon, of Winchendon, and Nikolas Guzman, of Gardner, died in a two-car collision in Gardner just before 6 a.m. on Green Street in Gardner, authorities said. Investigators believe Colon was driving, and Guzman was her passenger. Gardner firefighters had to cut them from the vehicle, and both were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.  Paramedics rushed the driver of the other vehicle to a hospital in Worcester with serious injuries. Fatal Crash: 31-Year-Old Man Killed While Walking In Central Mass A 31-year-old man was killed early Sunday morning, Feb. 19, while walking near a fast-food restaurant in Milford, authorities said.  The man, who police have not publicly identified, was hit just after 4 a.m. while walking by the rear entrance of Wendy's near the intersection of Dilla and Cedar streets, Milford Police said. Investigators  The driver remained on the scene. Police did not release their name.
