Double Fatal I-84 Crash: Toddler, 26-Year-Old Woman ID'd As Victims
A 26-year-old Connecticut woman and a toddler were killed on I-84 when another driver allegedly lost control and slammed into their vehicle.
The crash took place in Hartford County in West Hartford around 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6 near Exit 44.
According to the Connecticut State Police, the driver killed was identified as Natalia Dudzinski, of Bristol, along with the toddler, Malika Scott, who would have turned 3 years old in just weeks.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. Sunday, May 7 on I-84 in West Hartford.

Police have released the identities of three people killed in a two-car Christmas Day crash in Connecticut, including a mother and son.
The crash took place in West Hartford around 6:50 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 25, on Simsbury Road near Timberwood Road.
Novellette Bailey, age 55, Faye Dawson-Judkins, age 52, and Raheim Dantae Berry Nelson, age 17, all of Hartford, were killed in the crash, West Hartford police said.

Man Found Shot To Death On Porch Of CT Home, Police Say
Police are searching for a suspect after a Connecticut man was found shot to death on the porch of a second-floor home.
The shooting took place in Hartford around 5:20 p.m., Monday, Nov. 7 at 135 Nelson St.
According to Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police, officers responded to a rear, second-floor porch at 135 Nelson Street on a citizen report of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as Chester Gaston, age 46, of West Hartford, was unresponsive, Boisvert said.

20-Year-Old Woman Airlifted After I-84 Pileup Crash
One person was injured and airlifted following a three-vehicle crash on I-84 in Connecticut.
The crash took place in West Hartford around 7:20 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 1 on I-84 eastbound.
According to state police, the crash occurred when Litchfield County resident Amanda Maud, age 20, of Winsted, driving a Ford Fiesta, plowed into the back of a Hyduani Tuscon which was slowing down for congested traffic.
The impact caused the Tuscon to crash into a Honda Odyssey, police said.
Only Maud, who was ticketed for allegedly causing the crash, was injured, state police said.

Marketing Director From Hudson Valley Dies At Age 41
A marketing director who grew up in the Hudson Valley has died at the age of 41.
Connecticut resident Thomas Tavino, of West Hartford, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 4, according to his obituary.
Tavino was born in Putnam County, in the town of Carmel, and was a graduate of Brewster High School.
He earned a bachelor's degree from Marist College and went on to work as senior director of marketing for Takeda Pharmaceuticals, his obituary said.
"He was an avid Mets fan, he had a passion for cooking, and enjoyed golf and blackjack," his obituary reads.

CT Shootings Leave One Dead, Two Wounded, Police Say
Police in Connecticut are investigating two shootings that left a 22-year-old man dead and two others wounded.
At around 1:50 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 18, police responded to the area of 614 Albany Ave., in Hartford for a Shot Spotter activation, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police.
Minutes later officers were dispatched to a second Shot Spotter activation at 152 Mather St., Boisvert said.
