Health Alert Issued For Ground Turkey Products Shipped Nationwide Linked to Salmonella
Check your freezer. A public health alert has been issued for more than 211,000 pounds of raw ground turkey sold under multiple brands because the products may have caused Salmonella, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced. The products, produced by Plainville Brands, LLC, a Pennsylvania establishment, were shipped to retail locations nationwide. Hot Pockets Recalled Due To Possible Presence Of Plastic, Glass
A recall has been ordered for approximately 762,615 pounds of not-ready-to-eat pepperoni hot pockets product that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically pieces of glass and hard plastic, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The frozen NRTE pepperoni hot pockets product was produced from Nov. 13, 2020 through Nov. 16, 2020. Health Alert Issued For Popular Spaghetti And Meatballs Product
A health alert has been issued for a pre-made spaghetti and meatball product after metal was found inside the package, according to the USDA. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) issued the public health alert for heat-treated, not fully cooked, not shelf stable, spaghetti and meatballs in marinara sauce products due to concerns that the products may be contaminated with extraneous material, specifically metal. Food prices at grocery stores have increased by an average of 5.6 percent compared to the same time period last year. Mysterious Seed Packets Arriving In Mail Could Be A Scam - Don't Plant Them
People who have received mysterious seed packages through the mail are being advised: Do not plant them. Agriculture departments in 30 states are warning people about unsolicited seed deliveries that appear to be coming from China.
