A Venezuelan national living on Cape Cod has been arrested for a second time after failing to tell federal law enforcement officials about his previous murder conviction. The 38-year-old man had been staying in state-provided housing in Bourne at Joint Base Cape Cod when he was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston on Friday, Oct. 27, according to the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). A Brazilian citizen was caught hiding out in Massachusetts when he should have been serving a prison sentence in his native country for drug trafficking, authorities said. Officers with Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Boston arrested Diogo De-Sales Gomes in Somerville on Friday, Feb. 3, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reports. Honduran Man Faces 5th US Deportation Following Worcester Arrest
A Honduran man who has been deported from the U.S. on four occasions recently pled guilty to illegally returning to America again. On Monday, Dec. 21, Milton Javier Cardona-Guevara, 34, pled guilty to one count of illegal re-entry into the United States after deportation, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts. The guilty plea stems from an October arrest in Worcester when police picked up Cardona-Guevara on an outstanding warrant for criminal charges, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
