Man Dies After Kayak Overturns In Region A Western Mass man died after his kayak overturned in an area pond. John Reynolds, age 58, of the Town of Richmond in Berkshire County, died Thursday, Dec. 9 at Berkshire Medical Center after his kayak overturned in Richmond Pond. Around 7 a.m. Berkshire County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting an individual in Richmond Pond calling for assistance, said Berkshire District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Andrew McKeever. 26-Year-Old Killed After Crashing Into Tree Near Exit Ramp In Region A 26-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the region. It happened around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11 in Worcester County, according to Massachusetts State Police. Andrew St. Denis, of Stow, Massachusetts, was driving a 2009 Honda Accord and lost control of the car, driving into the infield on the Exit 26B ramp from Route 290 West, striking a tree, authorities said. Police Investigating After Man's Body Found In Connecticut River Police launched an investigation after a man’s body was found by a boater in the Connecticut River in Western Mass. The discovery in Hampshire County happened around 6 p.m., Friday, May 21, in the river in Northampton, said Laurie Loisel, director of Communications for the Northwestern District Attorney's Office. The boater summoned emergency help when he discovered the body and then stayed with the body to help the police find it, Loisel said. Fairfield County Man Dies In Ski Accident At Vermont Resort A Fairfield County resident who died in a skiing accident in Vermont has been identified by police. Arthur Powers, age 60, from Westport, was found dead around 2:15 p.m., Monday, Feb. 15, when Stowe EMS responded to the Stowe Mountain Resort for a skier who was injured after hitting a tree, said Chief Donald B.
